MAGA troll behind plot to smear Mueller kindles new racist birther movement to derail Kamala HarrisDAVID EDWARDS 22 JAN 2019 AT 11:28 ET
Jacob Wohl, an Internet troll who plotted to smear special counsel Robert Mueller as a sexual predator, has launched a new conspiracy theory falsely suggesting that Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris is not an American citizen.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Wohl said that Harris should be disqualified from the presidential race because her parents were not born in the U.S. The attack resembled racist birther claims that were made against President Barack Obama by President Donald Trump and others.

Twitter users quickly ridiculed Wohl after he posted the conspiracy theory.
