Or a 90% top tax rate? Here is a great one! Campaign finance reform and getting rid of Citizens United! We get something we REALLY want for something he REALLY wants! Then in ten years the wall just crumbles from all the holes cut into it with hacksaws.

We have big time leverage right now so maybe we should take advantage of it for something extremely important to the wellbeing of the country.

He doesn’t care about the federal employees affected by his tantrum. He doesn’t care about tearing children from their parents and throwing them in cages. He doesn’t care about the hurricane victims in Puerto Rico, or women, or the LGBTQ community, or the military in war zones, or vets, or anyone who isn’t rich. He also doesn’t care about his own base other than to use them to puff him up.

If anyone offers him anything he will simply up the ante and immediately demand more before accepting the offer. He’s already done it once. He even accepted the exchange last year but then Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh got mad so he had to back out. They won’t let him accept anything as being enough now. All three of them are narcissists and none of them will back down.

And much of the money will go into Putin's and Trump's pockets. We won't have money for healthcare, infrastructure or to seriously prep for the global impacts of climate change. The wall is a sick ruse, and so many people are falling for it. This entire wall fiasco is proof that a large percentage of our population are incapable of logical reasoning and lack common sense. It's yet another massive transfer of our public treasury into the pockets of a few and will do jack shit to protect our borders.

There's already a wall on the border everywhere one can be built. What, exactly, spending $5 billion (or, more than likely, $100 billion or far more) on a replacement wall will do is a question Trump needs to answer - AFTER the government has reopened with no wall funding in place, and under oath - before one wooden nickel is allocated for this stupid wall.
