Trump is a cornered animal. Which puts us all in peril.

Everyone knows that an animal is at its most dangerous when cornered. And this particular animal will do anything, anything, to survive.

Anything? What does that mean?

Well, he controls America's nuclear arsenal. And he can declare martial law.

These two powers are potentially so incredibly deadly, that even those most indifferent to government, or the news, might just get awakened to reality.

The consequences of control of a nuclear arsenal is self-evident.

Martial law would give Trump almost absolute power over the military and could quickly lead to an absolute dictatorship (if the military followed illegal orders).

At this moment America is at a very dangerous crossroad.

So here's the question on which the future of the world depends: Can we get rid of him before he gets rid of us?

As for martial law, no he can't do that. We've been talking about "national emergency" which he could declare, but it's not clear what powers he gets as a result. I don't think he could use it just to make an end run around Congress.

So what does that leave him? Just ever desperate measures to hold the base. That might be painful to go through, but it beats nuclear war.

So, when we get rid of trump, and we will, we have to approach it from a different angle.

Make him leave office, but make it look like he won. Get him to resign. I don't know how to do this. I hope someone smarter than me knows.

And this cornered animal has a "big button." Hopefully sane people at the Pentagon will head off any insane order from the cornered animal.
