Regarding one of the stupidest men in the world

So this is what it's come to.

So this is the place at which human evolution has arrived.

For thousands of years, human beings have been learning, advancing and growing.

So today, how did so many of our species voluntarily buy into being totally dumb and irrational?

I guess we have to assume that our self evaluation of our own growth/evolution is overrated.

Evidently, we have been mistaken about the advancement of much of human intelligence.

Different civilizations have faced this in the past. And many have fallen and are no more.

Today's world, dominated by incredible technological advancements, has put everyone in danger.

The danger is not the technology. It's those who have control of, and the uses of, this technology.

I believe that most of you here on DU know what I'm getting at.

Today's technology is awesome and virtually beyond anything we have known in our lifetimes.

So who is controlling it? Who is in charge of it? Who is making the decisions based on it?

America's government has the power to control every aspect of today's digital world.

But many of them can't or won't grasp the change. Not will they accept it.

It's no revelation that our pResident is one of the stupidest people in the world.

But no one could have predicted that so many in the Senate would accept his insanity.

Republicans who are intentionally looking away, are fucking themselves and their kin.

And they are also fucking everyone on planet Earth. -- Seems they really don't give a damn.

“As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.”
