"I don't f***ing need this shit!"
Why would William Barr willingly walk into this maelstrom?

(5,271 posts)He mentioned that Hope Hicks testified that Trump told her to lie several times.
Her testimony to Congress was almost a year ago when she admitted she had lied at Trump's request and described the lies as "white lies" but clammed up and refused to answer in any more detail or explain when was the last time he had told her to lie. She resigned not long after her testimony to Congress.

(22,040 posts)She seems like such an obvious witness.
Remember when Trump was crafting Junior's response to the NY Times that the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting with Russians was about adoptions? In the discussion onboard Air Force 1, Hicks said that Junior's emails would never get out. An assistant spokesman, who was also a lawyer, quit within days because he perceived possible obstruction of justice and didn't want anything to do with it.
Hick's "white lies" may turn out to be simply "lies."
