"multiple witnesses","internal company emails","text messages,"

https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/jasonleopold/trump-russia-cohen-moscow-tower-mueller-investigation

The special counsel’s office learned about Trump’s directive for Cohen to lie to Congress through interviews with multiple witnesses from the Trump Organization and internal company emails, text messages, and a cache of other documents. Cohen then acknowledged those instructions during his interviews with that office.

So it looks like Cohen's word should not be the focus here but the documented evidence of Putin's whore suborning perjury.

if Cohen affirms that there is a cache of written information and document information in regards to this obstruction of justice then Rashida Talib's sentiments should be the standard and not the exception.

No doubt

I have watched Trump since the early 1980s. He is a lying conman and I've never understood how anyone could think he was smart, respectable or a good businessman.

How did 60+ million American voters elect this sham?

He and his dad were frequently in the news for their mob-like behavior. The only reason that I can think of that he got the Republican nomination is because of "The Apprentice". We know that Republicans worship money.

Republicans got their tax cuts and deregulations,

I can't wait for poor Trumpers to discover that extra money they got in their pay checks came from their refunds.

Tv 'news' handed Traitor Donald over $2 billion in free air time. None of the other candidates could match that. The infatuation with ratings and outrage trumped any sense of balance or worry about the consequences to the country.

in the Senate, the SC, and the AG. and his zombie base. We are in unchartered waters here where people who are supposed to check the president are complicit with him. Our democracy hangs in the balance, will Senate Republicans put party over country, put Trump over the Constitution?

Even after he resigned, his approval was still around 24%. I didn't learn this until watching the most recent documentary on Watergate, but Howard Baker was actually a Nixon mole on the Watergate Committee until the evidence was clear that Nixon was behind all the crimes.

Impeachment cannot wait for the Republicans in the Senate to give up their hopes of a permanent rule, or hopes for a destroyed federal government, or hopes of hiding illicit funding, and place the interests of the country over party or self.

Impeachment proceedings can help halt the destruction we are witnessing. It seems clear that the traitor in our White House is willing to burn everything to the ground rather than give up any appearance of failure.

Is this acceptable to them? I guess at some point the House will have to find out by passing articles of impeachment. Then they'll have to go on record.

I think the optics around multiple impeachments are not good. If the Senate doesn't convict the first time around, why would they convict the next? I think the multiple impeachment scenario only works if a new Congress is seated.

Fri Jan 18, 2019, 08:45 AM

Rudy not only denied he had ever claimed no collusion with Trump campaign and Russia but Rudy also tried to get Trump off hook by narrowly defining Trump's entire exposure to crime by saying the only crime for Trump would be if he ordered the hacking. Guess he thinks Repubs and Fox have succeeded in keeping base in line by calling Mueller's American indictments for lying as merely "process crimes"

Didn't they take 16 burners from Cohen when they raided his places?

He taped everything because he HAD TO. He could not deliver written reports to his boss because MF45 doesn't read.

MF45: MIke did you run the thing up the flag pole with the guy?

Cohen: Yes Boss just like you said.

MF45: Did you say exactly what I told you to say, because I don't think you did? I mean I had to coach you, dummy.

Cohen: (puts phone on the desk and puches play. The whole conversation spools out between Cohen and *Russian*)

MF45: Good boy, Mikey.

Cohen: Thanks Boss. Anything for you Boss.
