Trump really could shoot someone on 5th Ave and the Senate will just look the other way.

So don't get your hopes up.
Committing felonies for personal gain and being a Russian Agent intent on bringing down the USA doesn't bother them one bit. It's all being done under the banner of the GOP so they will defend it to the death.

But as stated below, it appears to have reached critical mass. Any logical person would have hated this mother fucker no later than early 2016. So where we saw things that would have taken down any Dem, the deplorables ignored them.

The shutdown and not paying people finally seems to awakened some of them. The knew he didn't pay contractors, fucked over numerous people, lacked all morals, but they weren't fucked over by him. Now they see the average Joe being asked to work for free, the see repukes making comments that these people are over payed. IMO they can remember similar comments from Sr. Management at their own workplace. They know govt workers and they know they are just like them, working, trying to pay the mortgage, trying to give their kids a little something like dance lessons or soccer leagues.

In LA the local news seems to have a nightly story with some fucked over govt worker, and in almost every case the person states he is having to tell his kids that all activities have to be cut. Almost everyone with a kid has been through this, not enough money to pay for all the activities they want to try. These people are actually WORKING and have to tell their kids they can't pay for any activity.

Is summary, a MASSIVE FUCK UP by these assholes. Some black or mexican who the deplorables think are on govt assistance is fine from their point of view. Someone just like them is getting fucked over due to tRump, and it isn't playing well at all.

Criminals in the White House are seldom finished. Watergate was not only a long time ago, but the perps have learned a thing or two from the experience.

How many of Reagan's cabinet did time for Iran-Contra?

Who was sent behind bars for outing a CIA agent? Cheney never did time. Rove never did time. Sure, they set Libby up to take the fall for Valerie Plame, but they pardoned him soon after.

For raping the country financially and the phony premise given for the Iraq invasion, who did time? Who was even indicted? Nobody.

After December, 2000, when Condoleezza Rice told the Clinton-Bush transition team to fuck off when Sandy Berger told the incoming Bush team that Al Qaeda was by far the biggest threat (i.e. not Saddam Hussein), who was brought up on charges of mass negligent homicide on Sep. 12, 2001? The only punishment Condoleezza got was a delayed promotion to Secretary of State.

Out of the White House, out of mind (and more to the point, out of the circle of protection). The circle of wagons has been drawn, and they were not inside the perimeter when the circle closed.

Watergate ultimately brought Nixon down because he never realized that what he did exceeded the bounds of legality until it was too late. Trump doesn't, either of course, but his legal team does, and their damage control has kicked in way before Nixon's ever did.

Nixon said, "I am not a crook," and believed it.

Trump thinks, "who gives a rat's ass?" and believes no one does.

There's a lot more evidence that Mueller has we and the media are not aware of yet.

It’s becoming increasingly obvious what he did, but do you really expect Republicans to care? The Senate won’t vote to convict, no matter what Trump has done. Trump will absolutely never resign.

Our best hope is to vote him out in 2020 at this point. Even that is up in the air.

I think we should focus on the 2020 election. Trump will not be removed from office.
