Fans of Alonya Show and Glenn Greenwald..Know they have Moved!

So...Huff Post gets the popular RT "Alonya Show" on their New Streaming Video and Guardian who (some feel has moved to fluff) get's Glenn Greenwald who moves on from SALON.

It will be interesting to see how this works out for both of them.

I'm sorry to lose both to sites that, I believe will be less friendly to their points of view.

But, in these dire economic times...you gotta do what you gotta do and "moving along" is part of that as growth.

since it started. Its actually not too bad, but their format is a little annoying. Its definitely not the same because she doesn't have an entire show, but her segments have been pretty good and she hasn't caved in to doing fluff stories.

It's not the same as on RT. I'll give it a bit more time.

The Huff Post Live News site needs some tweaking, imho... It's a little too "chatty" whereas Alonya stood out on RT...even thought the "cocktail hour" got a little annoying to me...it might have been popular with the 20 somethings...so...I'm not one to disparage when it just be that I'm more hard core news whereas the 20 Somethings need a sweetener to get the JAZZ GOING.

This format on Huff Post seemed dull to me...her sitting there on that couch sort of "enclosed" and not able to walk around and have her usual "spice."

but the thing is, it was only the last 5-10 minutes of the show. The problem with huffpo live is one minute they're discussing serious news, and then the next minute they're gabbing about something trivial. I can see what they're trying to do with viewer interaction, which is interesting, but I'd rather they had a 'tv guide' of sorts so I could predictably see when Alyona is on, and skip the other hosts.
