AOC: two million Twitter followers and growing

I'm not on Twitter (heck, I'm not on any social media), but I do believe this number will grow by leaps and bounds. Her recent clips looking for Mitch, showing us a member of Congress inside the Capitol, have gone viral even outside of Twitter. That's as close as you can get to a government official talking directly to the American people without filtering by the media.

Criticize her for it? Hey, POTUS legitimized using Twitter a couple of years ago, so it must be okay.

1. She's good at media -- social or otherwise.

So is Avenatti. So, for that matter, is Trump. I'm still waiting for any of the three to actually achieve what they tweet, and yammer endlessly about on cable channels.

3. It's all about getting attention.

Corporations spend billions on advertising just to stay visible. With social media, you can do it for free.

These are "targeted commercials," and they go to people who want them.

2. One thing to remember. Following someone does not always mean you approve/agree with that person.

It also doesn't mean that all those people are actual people and not bots. I follow trump because I want to know what the blow hard says not because I like him. I am sure I am not the only one that follows people I can't stand.

4. More power to you for following someone you can't stand.

I could't do it, not at his rate. For me, it would be like giving someone else permission to piss me off whenever they want.

They want to ridicule her, but they are completely obsessed with her.
