This government shutdown has a lot if people here really upset.
I have been talking to people here in KCMO and they really don't like this shutdown. Too many regular, ordinary working families are being hurt.

(102,294 posts)"bedroom" community for some commuting to KC, but still populated by struggling rural farmers mostly trying to eek out a living against the corporate farmers buying up all the family farms. Kindly people but not really too sophisticated to sniff out those who would exploit them.
I have long had tremendous sadness at how they reflexively supported Republicans who threw their future down the drain, but nothing like this administration. I can only hope they are FINALLY waking up.

(13,426 posts)Rural/small town Missouri is exceptionally conservative and they have been flooding the polls in overwhelming numbers compared to KC, St. Louis and Columbia.

We need a wall. Those people are coming up again.
People from Mexico belong to the cartels. The cartels run everything and they are vicious drug dealers.
But people do not like the shutdown.
