If for some reason you ever run across his radio show the first 15 minutes are like the ramblings of some wacko on a street corner. The inside “jokes” and the obscure references are truly like a different language. Being an observer of politics and the media you (DU’ers) will probably get some of these in the sense that you remember a story (usually one day coverage) but when you hear his take you will have to take a few seconds to figure out how he went from A to B to S. In each are little seeds that perk what constitutes the minds of his listeners. Little Pavlovian responses fire off in their nervous systems. It’s completely another world.

It’s not just that he mentions let’s say Fast and Furious but then there is something else that gives you (me) a pause like “How the hell did he get that out of that?”
