Just a peak into the dark corners of the internet...

https://www.rt.com/usa/448929-ojai-school-swastika-chat/

Some 12yo kids did racist stuff and were disciplined by their school.

And when you look down to the comment-section, you see the REAL scandal is that those kids are being oppressed.

The school is regulating what you can and cannot think!

The real enemy is political correctness!

The Nazis came against freedom of expression and if the school punishes the kids for being racist, that makes THE SCHOOL the real Nazis!

RT is weird. They love to portray the US and Ukraine as overrun by Nazis... and at the same time you cannot find a single comment-section on their website without anti-semitic posts.

Sadly, it is also one which many ignore or make excuses for depending on who they support. One doesn't have to travel far to see anti-Semitism.

I used to play a game where I would go to the website of our local newspaper (the Columbus Disgrace........er, Dispatch), just pick ANY article at random, and then go to the comments section. The game was to see how many posts it would take before somebody said something racist. The average was about 7 posts. On literally ANY article about ANYTHING. One time I took a very innocuous article about the zoo getting polar bears, and by the 4th response, there was someone saying something about, "the (N-words)."

Pretty much every other comments section I've seen anywhere is the same. Where are all these racists coming from? And what is it about the anonymity of the internet that makes them feel GOOD about posting their racist crap for all to see?

In the last few months, RT has switched to what superficially looks like "balanced" reporting: Now they both feature articles praising Trump fromt he right and articles attacking Trump from the left. However, they never do so in the same article. Their article always takes a side, which means it's easy fuel for echo-chambers and partisanship.

RT is essentially trying to increase the widening rift between Democrats and Republicans by providing both sides with encouragement and talking-points.

But they never take a look at both sides in the same article.
