Gillibrand is Doing Pretty Well on Rachel Maddow's Show

i'm not sure if it will be enough to overcome the negatives which include her past voting record which was mostly because she represented a conservative district. and the thing with Al franken and comments about Bill Clinton could be held against her by some in the party.

but people are also willing to forgive or accept differences if they like everything else they see.

But Julian Castro came out with fire in his belly on Saturday. There was passion in his words. An energy that was noticeable.

I know it is early yet. But that is what I noticed.

She just doesn’t generate the same excitement that Harris or Warren do. Reminds me of John Glen in 84.

Even if I had never heard of Al Franken, I would have been turned off. With an enthusiasm as infectious as soggy toast and a delivery more wooden than a baseball bat, she touted the usual good things, and then said (I couldn't believe she actually dug this one up) she was going to bring us all together. Is she really? How nice.

THAT one was old when Walter Fauntroy used it in 1970 to run for nonvoting House member from DC, and he didn't seem to bring anyone together, for the record, though he did win his race (better singers in that TV ad, I guess--he's well over 80 now, and still kinda strange).

She sounds like a 12 year old trapped in a grown woman’s body. It’s off- putting. I’m Team Kamala, at least for now.
