Why Trump can't handle Pelosi: The House speaker scrambles his typical strategy for dealing with women

Then, along came Nancy.

Trump wanted Pelosi to be the speaker because she was a woman. He figured he could walk all over her. Trump was also armed by his delusional belief that he understood government and politics better than anyone in the world. And she wasn’t even a lawyer. (Trump has always been intimidated by lawyers.) When the time came, Trump would be ready for Nancy.

But the President forgot something. Nancy had no boss he could go over her head to. Diminishing her looks and demeanor would be ineffective because of her position. What worked on female reporters and political opponents would fall flat when applied to the speaker of the House.

He couldn’t even come up with a demeaning nickname, like Pocahontas, for her, she was too respected, and feared.

Trump still cannot get his arms around the degree of power Pelosi possessed. He is at sea.

This never happened before. And so we have a stalemate. Trump has met his match. It took a woman.

9. It's no "stalemate".

Nancy can (and will) spank Trump and put the little baby to bed. He's never come up against a woman like Ms. Pelosi and he has no idea how badly he'll get "pwned" if he tries any of his usual intimidation "techniques". She's the master at political wrangling and Trump would do well to avoid any political entanglements with Ms. Pelosi. Go get him, Nancy!

Very kind and caring, but --- she is no fool or an easily manipulated con man's mark. Trump is all about win-lose, and never win-win. Trump has never learned that you catch more flies with honey, than with a 2 x 4 board.
