You wanna talk "badass"? Think about how bad a badass it takes to . . . . .

. . . . . tell the president of the United States he can't address the congress or the nation in the United States Capitol. That he cannot follow honored tradition. That he is disinvited.

Really, think about what that takes. Imagine YOU doing it. Think about that for a minute.

THAT is what being a real BADASS is all about.

I would have done what she did in a second. She's following protocol and tradition, she's acting totally within her authority, and she's totally correct that the security requirements dictated by a separate government agency can't be met given the shutdown. What she IS doing is showing that she's not intimidated by a person who seems to believe that the checks and balances system in our government doesn't apply to him.

At this point she not only has to be the adult in the room, she also has to use "mom strategy" to deal with this petulant child in the Oval Office. He doesn't recognize her power but she knows it very well. And she has a united party for the most part. It's a big herd of cats, there will always be a few who start fights or spray on the furniture but most are unified in taking our country back asap. And that is what takes some badass.

“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”

the thing he loves the most: The chance to run his mouth unabated, without any interruptions, and run off his litany of lies to a captive audience.

Thank you, Ms. Pelosi, for saving Americans from the most dishonest, unfit for the presidency, piece of shit on the planet. I'm going to throw a small party in your honor.

Good reverse psychology aimed at Trump... It shows democrats practicing leadership.

Now Trump has to be reactive rather than proactive.
