Said President Ford. I do not recall the whole speech, I just remember how different it was from what we've heard from Nixon (I am not a crook).
Gore had to struggle with being associated with the economic expansion during Bill Clinton while distancing himself form the sexual scandals. (Did not work, this is why a sitting V.P. cannot run for office; Sr. was the exception, after they devoured Dukakis).
We expect every president to be different from the one preceding him or her. A new era.
Thus, I want the next president to be, yes, presidential. To behave and to talk in a presidential way.
Giggling like a teen while holding hands of a late night comedian and declaring a run for president is not presidential. How can anyone take her seriously?
Yes, there are more points against her, but this came to mind.

Warren and Harris - Dead Even. Harris is more relatable to me. She's like me.

And, no, that is not how I'll make a decision. All I can say for now is that Gillibrand & Gabbard are both non-starters for me.
