(29,565 posts)I'm a huge Franken fan and I don't see myself letting go of that either. But I do like that she has had a very liberal voting record in the Senate and that she openly talks about making her campaign about gender. Given what happened to HRC, thats an issue that obviously needs to be addressed head on. The Franken thing is real baggage for me, but I will listen to her... it's all hands on deck.
I don't know much about her except what happened with Franken but she wasn't the only one who ganged up on him.

(63,875 posts)when Franken was not given a chance to present his case to Committee he was just let go. Was this decision from both parties?? or just one?
Was Franken's grilling of Jeff Sessions hitting a nerve???? seems so to me.

(261 posts)I just switched to CNN when I saw that she was on MSNBC. How funny it was to get on DU just now and see that others had the same idea. I don't think I can ever forgive her for what she did to Al Franken.

Who led the charge against him?

(63,875 posts)snip of article:
The Trump administration pushed Republican lawmakers not to support the resolution introduced by Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer, which would have prevented the administration from lifting the sanctions.
"Forty-two Republican senators chose today to stand with Vladimir Putin," Schumer said in a statement. "Im extremely disappointed that many of my Republican colleagues are too afraid of breaking with President Trump to stand up to a thug."
McConnell,... ... karma is going to bite his a$$
