I hope the government workers who are not getting paid don't have to put up with it much longer.

It is all over less that 1% of the budget in a 20 trillion dollar economy. It's ridiculous. It started off because of Trump's political incompetence, not having enough sense to ask for the money in the first place, but that doesn't make much difference to the people who are not getting paid.
