Or just changed her position on government involvement in the area.

I think Maloney is in a better position to say than I am and he seems pretty clear.

it takes a truly good person to hold on to a belief like that. He did not condone what she did and is allowing her to amend her mistakes. This is the kind of person who we all need leading us. I am sure if she does what she did in the past again he will most likely not give her any leeway again.

My experience with people that hate and are unwilling to change and grow as a person is that they can't hide their hatred under any circumstances.

I'll except that Gabbard has done what Maloney says she has done. But I think she would be wise to do some self-reflection on some of the other
issues she has been on the wrong side of.

I worry that some people come around on one thing and think, oh I'm good now... then keep moving through life in a state of mind that led them to think shitty things in the first place.
