Kudos for Madame Speaker! I was hoping she would deny him the
State of the Union speech.
An audience is what he craves most. The clapping turns him on. She has denied him his spotlight. That's going to hurt.
She doesn't have to set up a State of the Union speech at all. If he doesn't cave and put the government back to work, I expect her to hold to that.
