My prediction: How the GOP will disown and reject Trump AFTER he has been ousted.

"Now, I understand the desire of my colleagues to drag the Republican Party into this, but we have to understand that President Trump was a unique phenomenon.

It's totally disingenuous to portray him as a typical Republican. He was something of his own.

In fact, we have to take into account that he used to be a Democrat for many years before he entered politics."

And plotting his removal from office, and running the opposite direction from him now as more comes out exposing his criminal activities and all his russian and putin ties. He's a disaster , and is using the office he holds as a weapon for putin to use against us. 2020 will be another disaster for all republicans. Because of trump and McConnell.

The worst guy they ever got into power, until this current swine.

Pretend they never backed him, never talk about him, no candidate of theirs will campaign using him, etc.

He and the GOP under him have done far too much damage to our nation and hurt too many people to ever be dismissed as a "unique phenomenon" because their hate for women, people of color, the poor and disadvantaged, the non-Christian, LBGQT community, and decent people everywhere is ingrained in their DNA. It is not unique. It is a pathos that should be identified and destroyed every time it rears its ugly head.

NO!! Never let them forget.

they will have to do it very soon. If they wait until too close to 2020, the election will be a rout. Many of their key people will be voted out of office. People have short memories. If they disown him now, they will have a couple of years to brag about how they got rid of the madman who was destroying our country.

Can they disown him? Do they want to do that? I am not sure he has outlived his usefulness to them yet. If anything does happen, it will happen quickly.

I think of that every time I see a Never-Trumper on the teevee. Sure, they hate him but they are also trying to salvage their party which, sorry fellas! isn't worth saving.

They’ll say that “Donald Trump wasn’t conservative enough.” It’s a lie they’ve told themselves and others for decades and they STILL believe it. The Republican Party faithful will go glassy-eyed, then close ranks behind the knaves peddling this horse sh#t explanation.

He was full of democratic ideas, like increasing the national debt or weakening the US militarily!
