I found myself liking Barr in the beginning...

But then he kept hedging over and over. Kept talking about the regulations (which gives him broad discretion and he can change with the stroke of a pen).

He's shown how out of touch that he is and he's said very little about his meeting with tRump.

He should be questioned more about that meeting, why he didn't share the memo with Mueller's office and more about SDNY to make sure he lets them do their job without interference.

These things need to be on the record.

He'll likely be confirmed. Ugh.

Sadly, he's probably as good as trump can get/nominate. n/t Hoyt Jan 2019 #4

she mentioned at least twice that it has been 30 years since he was AG and implying that he was way out of touch with stuff.

Cory Booker's questioning was excellent.

I've been leaning more towards him and Kamala Harris lately for 2020.

Both are excellent.

If he was interested in an honest debate? Because he wasn't. He was angling to become The New Fixer for the KGOP republicans & their skuzzball evil-empire crony comrades.

Barr's memo was his way of paying obsequious homage to Dirty Donny, the republican Draft-Dodger-in-Chief.

...other than that he'll be a good little toady for Trump from the sound of his non-answers.
