Early voting, same day registration, pre registration for 16 and 17 year olds, consolidation of federal and state primaries and elimination of the LLC loophole for campaign contributions!
The Democratic Assembly had passed these reforms for years but they were blocked by the Republican majority in the senate. In November. Democrats retook the Senate by a staggering 8 votes. The Senate passed these bills today! A great day for Democracy in the Empire State. Excelsior!!
