Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, NJ has had a history of violating environmental regulations. From destroying wetlands and wetland vegetation, to failure to keep proper records of pesticide use, to exceeding their water allocation by pumping too much water from the aquifer beneath the course, rules have never been Trump's thing. They're for the little people. Have a few minutes of time on your hands to do some research? Click on this link here and look for yourself. Make sure the report category is "compliance and enforcement" and scroll down to "enforcement actions by site name and date". Run the search from 2001 to today. Enter "Trump National" as the site name in the search. You will find 200 separate violations-50 of which remain unresolved. Some of these violations have been open since 2009 without either fines being levied or remediation being performed. Trump's lawlessness covers everything he gets involved in. He has relied on oversight being lax. It's why he acts the way he does.

In October, ProPublica, WNYC and The New Yorker reported that Vance had overruled prosecutors who wanted to bring felony fraud charges against two of the presidents children, Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr. The office had been investigating the two for making misleading statements as their fathers company attempted to sell apartments in a struggling condominium and hotel in downtown Manhattan called the Trump SoHo.
During the investigation, in 2012, Vance met with Donald Trumps lawyer Marc Kasowitz. Kasowitz had donated $25,000 to Vance for his first re-election campaign. Vance returned the donation before the meeting. Then he declined to prosecute anyone in connection with the investigation. A few months later, Vance accepted more than $50,000 from Kasowitz and lawyers at his New York firm, Kasowitz Benson. Vance, in comments to ProPublica at the time, denied that Kasowitz influenced his decisions, but announced that he would return the second donation from the lawyer.
