Just watched RBG, the CNN documentary. Wow!

I had recorded it a few months ago, and while our satellite is out due to weather, got a chance to watch it. It was wonderful.

It did a great job of showing the obstacles she overcame, and the importance of her persuasive arguments on the court members. We also saw a bit about her personal life, and the importance of her very supportive, funny, and charming husband, a successful tax lawyer, in her life and work.

It also pointed out the role played by President Jimmy Carter, who in recognizing how women and people of color had been excluded from the judiciary, appointed her to a lower court in 1980.

Thank you, Justice Ginsburg and to the late Martin Ginsburg, for all you did for us. And thanks CNN, for bringing the story to TV.
