but I take the "Legitimately Stupid" in a different way. He is Legitimately Stupid, as well as anyone on the right who holds these views for EVER publicly admitting to such views. They will go down in flames.

It's easy to equivocate on the meaning of stupid. It has many meanings. It's anything from "I disagree with it," to "really retarded."

I checked out their reaction to Akin's remarks and all but a few of them are saying basically the same things we are. They want him to step down and take himself out of the Senate race. I was stunned.

and in fact hold a position of authority and power in that country and advocate a position that is flatly out of touch with reality, I think it's more than a sign of stupidity; it's a mark of psychosis. I have never heard of this guy before. I'm starting to think that if we examined the ideas of any Republican at random in office, we'd notice that they belong in a straight jacket.
