If anyone thinks that this wall

can be built for 5 billion, they are seriously deluded.

Texas just recently built a toll road on very flat terrain that is all of 41 miles long. The cost? 1.3 billion dollars not including maintenance and repairs that ill have to made in the future.

The Rio Grande Valley is enormous with huge mountain ranges and hilly scrub land. This will cost WAAAAAY more than what Cheeto is asking for.

Where will all this money come from? This is one big boondoggle and I am a surprised that the conservatives that will clench a dollar bill between their ass cheeks is in favor of such a thing! Not to mention alllll the other reasons.... but really... WTF?

Much less the actual purchase of land, materials, labor, kickbacks, etc.?

As a matter fact, there are still lawsuits ongoing to this day from when ol' George W started something similar albeit on a much smaller scale.

Then I wonder... a national emergency that is 5 years or more in making? REALLY?

Trump acts like he is going to get this $5 billion and the next morning the cranes and bulldozers are going to start building this wall. I think his deplorables think this as well. They've all got another thing coming.

let him declare a national emergency. He will lose that fight too.

He’s like a fly caught on flypaper. The more he struggles the more stuck he gets.

But it was never about the actual, physical wall anyway. And the $5.7 billion or whatever was just pulled out of somebody's ass, as something that sounds like a lot of money that might build something impressive (and can probably be hacked up and split between the various interested parties in less than a year). He just wants to be dictator, that's it really.
