Does the press pitch policy ideas to tRump through their questions?

I know he watches faux news in order for him to make decisions.

The other day during a press conference a reporter asked him about declaring a national emergency over this faux border wall. I watch the news a lot and there was never a word about it until this question that I can recall.

I wondered who the reporter was and if he was from a conservative outlet where the question would be fed to tRump. Perhaps, it was even arranged and tRump knew who to call on and what the question was going to be.

Something like this happened a while back where tRump was asked a question which floated a notion that had never been brought up before. I wish I could remember what specifically it was. Maybe it'll come to me later.

Maybe I'm just nuts, but tRump takes his cues from the conservative press anyway.

I posed the same question a few days ago. It just seemed too convenient. oregonjen Jan 2019 #2

martial law, for weeks. I think we get carried away sometimes, just like the white wingers that said Obama would do the same to stay in office after his two terms.

Heck, FDR used it to intern innocent Japanese after Pearl Harbor.

Admittedly, with trump just about anything is possible.

Does anyone remember when reporters used to identify themselves and the media they represented?
