Fox News proposes labelling the wall "infrastructure" to win democratic support.

https://www.mediamatters.org/video/2019/01/07/foxs-outnumbered-panel-republicans-should-sell-trumps-border-wall-infrastructure-gain-democratic/222434

DAVID ASMAN (FOX BUSINESS HOST): One thing that we thought Trump and Democrats could compromise on is infrastructure. If this could be put in the realm of "infrastructure," as opposed to the realm of "border security," it might work.

[CROSSTALK]

MELISSA FRANCIS (CO-HOST): Oh, that's a great idea.

HARRIS FAULKNER (CO-HOST): That's a good idea.

...

FAULKNER: So, why is it that we can come with ideas here among the five of us, yet all of them, 500 plus and the president, are struggling?

Some host on Fox Business said it too

I’m guessing they are prepping their believers for memes and talking points. If Trump says “security infrastructure” tonight or something like that we’ll know.

Reality doesn’t matter only the framing does. We can call the wall bacon and everyone loves bacon. And they boast about being geniuses for that. Absolutely despicable liars and proud of it.

Or a 2000 mile wall with Mexico of which substantial lengths are deemed completely unnecessary and Trump previously said would be paid for by Mexico and would not cost taxpayers a dime?

14. Good point. When lumped in under infrastructure, the wall could fare even worse.

Because there is so clearly so much work needed very badly. It makes the wall look like the joke that it is.

Well, why not both?
