I have a question

maybe some of you DUers can answer it?

McTurtle says he will not bring a vote to the Senate floor on anything that Trump disagrees with. Does anyone know if there are enough Republican senators who disagree with the stupid wall funding, that if a vote were taken on the House funding bill, it would pass the Senate? Can the Senate just ignore McTurtle and take a vote on their own? And, finally, if by some miracle that would happen, and Trump vetoes it, how many votes does it take to override his veto?

Thank you and I apologize for my ignorance.

I believe it would pass if the bill came to the floor, but not enough to override a veto (at least not today).

I'm not clear on whether Senators can force a vote, but Republicans would not go around their leader like that. They'd just convince him to allow the vote to avoid embarrassment.
