I'm not very good at posting from Twitter but I'll give it a try. The art is at the Huff Post link below.

Lets remember this year that according to very sound scientific evidence, human beings evolved from apes and not the other way around, he captioned the image.
Jim Carrey appeared to offer up his own theory on the evolution of supporters of President Donald Trump with his latest politically themed cartoon.
The actor-artist depicted what looks like a chimpanzee wearing blue glasses in the art shared online Friday. The classic illustration of human evolution is reversed in the animals mind to show a MAGA cap-wearing human turning back into an ape:

By the way - Liberty's mascot is The Flames.
As you probably know Liberty hired Dave Brat to Head their business department this week. A few weeks ago they hired a new football coach, Hugh Freeze, who was fired at Ole Miss for using a state phone to repeatedly call an escort service.

(102,297 posts)The first time I saw any of his cartoons, had I been presented with a choice of five or ten possible artists, I'd have guessed Jim Carrey immediately... Sure I appreciate his political views, but his art is just so consistent with his personality. Amazing...

(182,832 posts)Was on Seinfeld's "Comedians in Cars getting Coffee" (good on line show). This was the first Jerry knew of his art either I've heard him say in an interview. Carrey works quick and, on the Seinfeld show, on massive canvasses. 6' x 8-10'. At least the art they showed at his studio were that size.
I've been a fan going back to when he simply contorted his face to do impressions and then on a short lived TV show "The Duck Factory" - this was pre-In Living Colour. I got it with him right away.
