Trump is off to Camp David leaving Pence to negotiate with the Democrats.

Pence can't do anything.

They had a deal with Pence weeks ago and Trump shut it down.

How does one show one is ready to replace a complete incompetent?

The audition was over when he was elected Vice President.

I know it not Mar-a-Lago, but this will not go over well with the public except to his supporters.
I know he said that this retreat is too rustic and ugly for his taste, but it still has a driving range and pool. Also he have visited this place 5 times already.

If I was a federal working whose job has has furlough, I would be furious. He secret service detail should be livid if thaey see him enjoying himself there while they are not getting paid.
