"SNIP....

“The Supreme Court once again will take up unresolved constitutional questions about partisan gerrymandering, agreeing Friday to consider rulings from two lower courts that found congressional maps in North Carolina and Maryland so extreme that they violated the rights of voters,” the Washington Post reports.

“The North Carolina map was drawn by Republicans, the Maryland districts by the state’s dominant Democrats.”

And there’s a good chance scotus with two illegitimate justices wants to step the courts back from any gerrymanding review at all.
Worse, the illegitimate Supreme Court may even rule independent redistricting commissions unconstitutional.

Kavanaugh and Gorsuch are the fruit of the poison tree. 15 justices or bust.

if that is good or bad.

But, I wonder if they can come up with a decision that will allow it for Republicans and disallow it for Democrats. If they can, I'm certain they will.

We don't really have a gerrymandering problem in my state. We appoint a tri-partite commission that handles re-districting and it works fairly well IMNSHO.
