Nancy Pelosi is killing it in the town hall with Joy!

Last edited Sat Jan 5, 2019, 03:52 AM - Edit history (1)

I’ve never seen an interview with Nancy Pelosi, so I didn’t have any idea how good she is. She has facts and details for everything. Her style is kind of Professorial in that she talks about the issues and doesn’t just answer questions. She extrapolates, adds little stories and has a wonderful sense of humor. When she was asked about the Guatemalan boy who died inUS custody she not only added the boy’s name but she included the little girl who died and used her name.

I’m really impressed with her. I hope she does this more!

She knows the issues and reminds me of Obama and Clinton’s ability to absorb huge quantities of facts. No matter what anyone asked them they knew all about it, even if it was really fresh news. She seems to be of that caliber.

Wouldn’t it be a trip if that happened? She’d have to appoint a VP.

What if it were Hillary?

Fantasizing just for fun.

This is very different from a 10 minute interview on an hour show like Rachel’s. Joy is giving her all the space and time to expound as long as she wants to.

Are you watching?

with the public's perception of Nancy Pelosi is there have been so few one on one interviews with her. I recall seeing her on Charlie Rose's show a couple years ago and I was very impressed. Most of the time, all we see are short press briefing at the capital. It is really not enough to get a feel for a person.

She would win over all those who think she’s too old. They would realize her age and experience are the very thing that’s needed.

I know that I'm starting to appreciate her a lot more than I did a few years ago. Her accomplishments have been pretty remarkable, but most people weren't aware of it. Meanwhile, the media wasn't very complimentary for the most part.
