As a woman, I sometimes wonder if we've made any progress at all

Sure, some of us make a little more money, but the ongoing misogyny is sometimes just too much to deal with. While playing Words With Friends today, I got a pop up for this "game".

Notice, you have to be 18 to undress her. If you're under 18 you can only KILL her. I checked on Google Play. The game is highly rated. People think it's lots of fun!

This is a common scummy ad technique for these games - the ad has nothing to do with the gameplay. Oneironaut Jan 2019 #6

Unethical companies like this create misogynist or suggestive ads for iPhone games that are essentially realtime strategy games or "builder" games. This appears to be a shitty RTS game that's a knockoff of so many before it, which also had stupid ads like this.

You're not actually hurting women in the game - you're moving glorified board-game pieces around in another uninspired iPhone game meant to fleece as much money from people as possible.

One, we’d never see a man tied up with an option to “undress” him.

Not only mysogonistic but seems to be promoting sexual assault.

I really have to wonder about people who think this is fun. It's sick. Would it be fun or ok if it was a racial minority or if a bunch of women were doing this to a man?
