So, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Mitch Mc Connell (R-KY) were in the room today

in a meeting with Trump. The three of them, as well as the others who were not mentioned, could see and hear if Trump was working with a full deck of cards between his ears. Has he lost his ability to do his job?
...I read there was a 15 minute rant about the wall. Is that proof he can't think clearly? Trump has said he will use "emergency powers" to get money for his "wall." If Trump uses "emergency powers" to build that wall, is that proof of need for the 25 Amendment? Will Republicans put our country ahead of their need to protect this person? The more Trump opens his mouth, the more impeachment becomes necessary. While a vote of impeachment in the House could become likely, a successful trail in the Senate is very unlikely. If Trump uses "emergency powers" in this way, the Supreme Court will have to rule if that is legal.
... What is next? ..I have often said, "Trump doesn't have a clue." Now, today. I admit that I certainly do not have a clue as to what is going to happen next. See you next time, same channel and same station. This is a very strange program. I hope it ends well for all of us..

3. I used to show that one to my classes in U.S.History. Bogart was a great actor. Sadly, Mr.Trump

is not acting. I am not teaching some U.S. History in high school and Mr. Trump is real.
This is the real show, not some movie. It is real beyond belief. While it seemed clear that Captain Queeg was nuts, is it clear that Mr. Trump is nuts? And what will the end be? No one knows.

5. It's clear to me he suffers from pathological narcissism, and also a degree of dementia

I see too much in his behavior that reminds me of what I saw with my mother, when she headed down that dementia road. She, herself, was a bit of a narcissist, and it was rough.

2. This is how much of a traitor McConnell is to the oaths he has sworn: He. Does. Not. Care.

McConnell could end the shutdown any time. He is enabling this maniac.

4. Long Shutdown Cause For Impeachment/Sanction?

Isn’t keeping the government shut down for an exceedingly long time grounds for impeachment/sanction? It seems this could turn long and injure many people, and cause workers to vacate jobs. I would see that as cause for reprimand or impeachment.

12. As I have posted before - he backed himself into a corner and knows this it it

He's negotiating against himself at this point. It's gone from wall/Mexico to USMC (formerly NAFTA) will pay for it to steel slats to "years" (trying to strongarm with time) to this emergency thing today. He - the White House - thinks or knows that at this point he HAS to win this. He has not choice buuuut as I said he is negotiating with himself. Nancy and Chuck are just sitting there letting him take credit for the shutdown and letting him argue/counteroffer with himself.

No empathy of course but you are seeing a self caged animal scratching and clawing to the point of self abuse.

Then Mara Liasson was on. Granted some of this comes from the White House but she made two interesting points:
1. The administration doesn't think Trump will suffer any politic fallout from the shutdown.
and then this...
2. For his base the wall is is vital and they take it very literally. According to her sources in the White House/Trumpians they don't think he can get re-elected if he doesn't get the wall.

I was listening to the news, not watching and I thought there was discussion about his absence for that event.
