Trump casually says former presidents have privately told him they should have built the wall.

My money is that Trump is hearing voices in his head.

Clinton's spokesperson has already confirmed it wasn't him. One similar statement from the Bush family, Carter, and Obama, and you've got the story absolutely sealed up.

Unlike Trump's other "someone said" bullshittery, where the people who he may have been referring to is vague and squishy enough that you cannot absolutely say it was a LIE, this one is easy. The number of POTUSes who Trump could have possibly spoken to is tiny and they are all identified/known. Lock down a quote/denial from each former POTUS and you've got a fiery back-and-forth with Huckster-Slanders at the next briefing. You'll be famous, the next Jim Acosta to get banned.

He would know exactly how ineffective a wall would be, not to mention the problem of siezing thousands of acres of private land along the border.

There is no way Carter, Clinton, GWB or Obama would approve of a wall. As always, he is just a fucking liar.
