And what other phrase can our brains use?, if not New World Order? I know, I know, it's not supposed to be used HERE, but in less than fifteen years, we no longer as a nation have the right to bring liquids with us when we travel. We have to queue up and be polite while they grope our privates and those of our infants and elderly.

This is not leading to a good place. Couple the notion that we all need to be surveilled upon, and probed and checked and have our PM's and email read, and cell phones listened to, with the notions that expressed some eight months back.

The moment I am mentioning is when some Senators forgot the C Span mike was on them. And this one Southern Senator is saying how his whole goal in life is to see that China is not disappointed in our financial obligation to them... How can we get out of that one? I wondered as I turned C Span off, some time later.

And my sleep that night was troubled by the images of how the USA let the Chinese come here and run our prisons for us so our people can sit in prison and make factory goods for them. When you consider that we have already seen our jobs go overseas, and we have already seen eight million households go under in foreclosure, and now this loathsome Trans Pacific Plan is being agreed to, secretly, I have to ask:

Is it totally inconceivable that we working class types could be sitting and working for 47 cents a day? I see no real reason why that couldn't happen. You appear at the Occupy rallies one time too many. Your credit rating remains in the dumpster for too many months,. Or the people at the top simply need to get some warm bodies helping to straighten out the debt ratio held by America in terms of Chinese imports.

I really truly don't think it is impossible for "it" to happen here.

People here on DU have alerted the authorities about others who have posted less threatening posts than his.

He wrote "sharpen my ax, I'm going to sever some heads" among other things.

Personally I believe the guy was screaming for help- and I hope he gets it.

People who blog don't always sound nice. I just got off another blog where someone there had posted

"Eat your pheasant, Drink your wine, Soon you'll be dead, You bourgeoisie slime" with regards to the mass murder of thirty or more striking miners by South African police earlier today.

Like many on FB are saying, it is a shame that we have plenty of DHS militia to focus on people blogging, yet no one from the Justice Department to deal with the real crooks - you know, the ones that ran our economy into the ground and then got bailed out, at our expense.

10. FB isn't a blog- and what he wrote isn't a joke-

I don't believe that the DHS was monitoring his postings. There have been posts here at DU which pointed out individuals on FB who were posting offensive and sometimes threatening things- with the request that people report the offenders to FB. Teabaggers are claiming that Raub was fingered because of his statements about 9/11 being an inside job. I call bullshit on that. If that were the reason, there would be thousands of people along with him. People with much more reach and influence than him. Jessie Ventura, Alex Jones etc.

The screen shots posted on this thread show some of the escalating postings of Mr. Raub. I think he needs help, and I'll say again I'm glad he's getting evaluated at a legitimate medical facility. I'm not saying that there aren't many 'real crooks' who shouldn't be dealt with as you point out- but this is one situation where I cannot fault what seems to be a legitimate intervention in the interest of everyones safety. Including Brandon Raub's.

11. Look - I had an individual stalking me for over a year

he stated in front of witnesses that he was going to break my neck.

The police did nothing, despite his repeated threats. I was told if I wanted his threats to subside, to move elsewhere.

(In the end, i did move away, and he then threatened a former roommate of mine, at which time the landlord made him move out of the building.)


But let someone post how he is about to become the next General of the Great Revolution, and we suddenly have people at the door ready to take the guy away.

Meanwhile, the real crooks are getting their bonus checks at AIG, and Goldman Sachs.

12. I'm sorry to hear you

went through that and that you got so little help with the situation. I've had some personal experiences my self with mental health interventions and crisis team evaluations, so I'm not just blowing smoke.

You are right, there are some really high profile crooks who aren't being held accountable, and that is incredibly frustrating, but I still cannot complain or support those who are playing the Raub incident to further their own agenda- which the people I first heard it from (an ex-friend and teabagger) was doing and trying to get me and others to join into.

I hope that person who gave you so much grief never bothers you again. Thanks for explaining your perspective.
