FYI - The new House Gavels in at 11 AM...

Last Floor Action:
12:02:50 P.M. - The Speaker announced that the House do now adjourn pursuant to section 2(b) of H. Res. 1180. The next meeting is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on January 3, 2019.

Don Young (R-AK), the longest serving House member will act as Speaker Pro Tempore until the new Speaker is elected.

A whole bunch of C-Span is cable subscription free, but it gets a little hinky how you log on. Their main page requires a cable hosted connection, but of late, there are other portals that are totally hosted by C-Span, and fortunately they mostly broadcast the hot topics of the day. Finding the C-Span hosted connection is the game.

They opened at 11:00, did a few short procedural matters, and adjourned at 11:02.
