Whoever the Democrats choose for their Presidential nominee in 2020, unless that candidate can win

in enough purple or red states, it will be very difficult to win the WH

Right or wrong, it is the electoral college that determines the President, and that is not going to change anytime soon

Howard Dean's 50-state strategy was successful because he understood that

No different than Charles Manson when they normalized Trump's fascism.

Srinivas Kuchibhotla and Heather Heyer's blood are on their hands as far I am concerned.

Hopefully our Congress can point that out.

Part of it's the electoral college (which clearly is failing us), but some of it is just out and out shenanigans, like in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina. We're making progress in all those places.

I love the 50-state strategy, but I think we start by straightening out voting rights in the purple states first. It's the loss of those states that really have hurt. Some places like Idaho and South Dakota just need to be lower priorities (I still maintain that if tech companies could put 25,000 new jobs in South Dakota and another 25,000 in Wyoming, both those low-population states could be quickly flipped).

city dems just don't factor in talk radio but all red states are baked in that alternate reality and have been for 30 years

when dems figure that out the country will go 10 points left

to get out and register and then vote Democratic ticket. If you want to win the electoral college we have to have the third of the
country that doesn't care, care! I make a point every day at work to find a republican "friend" and tell them how cheetolini is imcompetent or some other talking point. They don't always agree and some even shun me, but I do make inroads with a few.
