Trump is a symptom, not the cause.

Trump is a racist. An open racist. The GOP depends on racists as an important and large part of their base.

The only difference between the openly racist Trump, and Ronald "welfare queen" Reagan, is that Trump is open about it.

The only difference between Trump and Mr. 47% Mitt Romney is that Trump is open about it.

The GOP is the party of racists. The GOP cannot win without the support of racists. And that should be the narrative. Well, a part of the narrative.

Trump is the culmination of what started with"the southern strategy" and reached full bloom under Reagan.

Conservatives love to rage against what they see as political correctness, but what they really mean is that they hate to be confronted when they are being openly racist.

In our area, a number of us have been verbally confronting Nazis and racists at public meetings.

After one such confrontation, where I called some people racists, they literally walked out of the meeting and said that I was harassing them.

Sorry, but if you say racist things, expect to be confronted.

But the corporate media will not deal with the obvious fact that the GOP needs the racists.

I said, no, racists talk that way at home. But you are not at home, you are in a public forum.

idiots see themselves as stable geniuses.

we were at a meeting of our social justice group, and we talked about Trump and racists in general. And we agreed that it was past time to get more vocal.

So we have.

the fact, when they act on it , and then only when it is safe to do if dealing with them on an individual or small group basis.
So your group’s proactive stance against these racists while among them as perceived peers is appreciated

And they generally accuse us of bullying them. One in particular, a local politician, accused me personally of bullying her and her husband at a meeting.

One of my resolutions this year is to be even more vocal in publci meetings.

A friend and I also went to a local Tea Party meeting. After the meeting, we were informed that we would not be allowed to attend another meeting.

Now THAT attitude is no way to grow the group!!

No other Republican has been able to do that to the extent he has. Which is why he needs to be removed from office as soon as possible.
