Trump is creating an entirely new dimension of stupid.

I cannot believe that the President of the United States said the following this morning in his Cabinet meeting:
"Russia used to be the Soviet Union. Afghanistan made it Russia because they went bankrupt fighting in Afghanistan."

The guy's mind is mirrors clouded over with the fog of ignorance. Is he saying Afghans bankrupted the Soviet Union so the Soviet Union changed its name to Russia?

If so, this sounds more like him - changing a company's name to avoid bankruptcy or the law.

That is like saying the only reason Japan lost WWII is because of Rosie the Riveter. He cannot comprehend anything beyond simple cause-and-effect. The complex interactions of the world elude him. It's not that he's ignorant; he's stupid as well. And like many stupid people, he doesn't know what he doesn't know, and lacks the curiosity to find out.

How do you "essentially" fire someone? It's as if he were saying, "I kissed this girl and she had kissed this man who had kissed this famous woman, so essentially I kissed the famous woman."

We know he didn't fire Mattis because Mattis stood right in front of him in the Oval Office and quit. Trump is too much of a coward to fire someone face-to-face, despite his television persona. He does it by tweet or has someone like his chief of staff do it. Initially Trump had announced Mattis had retired because he thought the general's letter was complimentary to himself. It was only after someone explained to IQ45 that Mattis had told him, "Go fuck yourself, asshole," did he have to create a fantasy world where it was he who was the actor and not the victim.

I wonder what phantasmagorical reason he's created in his warped little mind for how it is everyone else's fault that his casino failed? "Everyone was getting so rich at my casino they could afford to play at the low-quality failing ones."

How many people are going to earn their Ph.D.s in psychology doing dissertations on one of the sicknesses that permeate Donald J. Trump's mind? How many students will get MBAs by doing case studies of Trump's business failures? How many historians will refer to these four years as "the Dark Ages of the United States."

"Elect me," Trump told black voters, "What have you got to lose?" Everything, it appears. And this is less than two years into his first (and hopefully only) term.
