Netflix caves to Saudi government demand to delete show critical of government.

Disappointing, but money trumps morality everywhere.

Netflix has a removed an episode of Hasan Minhaj's show "Patriot Act" in Saudi Arabia at the request of the government.

In the episode, Minhaj criticizes the Saudi government for its role in the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. https://n.pr/2SuMfti

I would be hesitant about exercising speech critical if SA as well given that our own government turns a blind eye to them literally hacking people to pieces with a saw. I would feel differently if I felt my government would protect me from SA if I was threatened.

Oh well, I guess it's justified then! It's not like they're just willy-nilly censoring - It's the law!!!
