Ive been waiting for someone else to post this on DU, but havent seen it so far. It seems too significant to ignore. The thread is long, and I had to read it twice, but it makes a credible case for asking some pointed questions. First on my list is, who provided content from a Russian disinformation site to tRump, who pushed it at a rally within two hours after it was first posted?

(25,111 posts)The GOP knew, they covered it up. Clinton - e-mails - Benghazi - any hatred against her - lock her up - she hates puppies, etc.
Corporate media and social media and hate ratio and coporations all knew, but they focused on Clinton and anything in opposition to their greedy goals.
Ya see the GOPs are still ain't doing nothing. Yeah, a few here and there speaking sorta against him, but where is McTurtle?

(5,754 posts)how did they do it so quickly? Into Trump's mouth within 2 hours? That implies VERY direct coordination with Russians.

(575 posts)1. One of the reasons I think the press dismissed KE's account and thought it absurd was because during the campaign, both primary and general, the press could not get enough of Trump. If something like this began and they dug, it would spoil their entertainment.
When Trump got elected and the press got royally skewered by the public for their role in this, they began to pull back.
2. This story reminds me of one I read shortly before the election. It's the same one that Rachel Maddow is fascinated with. It was in Slate and involved a russian bank hooked up to and 'talking' to a server in the Trump offices. It blew me away then and it still haunts me. What was going on with this? I really hope Mueller finds out and addresses this.
