..The entire power in Congress has shifted away from complete control by Trump's party. Further the leader of the opposition in the House of Representatives, is a seasoned leader over the years who knows all the highways and by ways of legislation, and the tricks and games people play while trying to enact laws and change laws already enacted. Trump has not faced opposition like this as President. In terms of getting legislation enacted through the House of Representatives, Mr. Trump is clueless. He will face opposition like he has never faced before. F**k Him ..

(4,609 posts)was with a compliant (complicit) Republican Congress, offering no stress or opposition. January 3rd will be a rude awakening. Can't happen fast enough. I hope the Democratic Committee Chairpeople and Pelosi have his head spinning with a display of Congressional powers.

(38,436 posts)this president up. But I doubt it. Well, he will have some "new tweets" about his opposition. And of course, some new people to be mad at for whatever reasons he gets mad. (which of course are insane.) I wonder what the Puke leaders will do when Trump blows up completely at Democrats stopping his "agenda" But we will all find out very soon. At least we will need this again...

(24,229 posts)that he wanted.
THEY wanted the tax cuts.
That was Paul Ryan and Mitch.
He wanted them to kill Obamacare, ban Muslims and Build a wall.
They did none of this.
So they did nothing instead, except confirm a couple of SCOTUS guys that and GOP President would pick because Trump happened to be there at the time.
And he's going to look back at the do nothing GOP Congress as the good old days compared to what's going to hit him in the face on Thursday.

(38,436 posts)And that is the total truth. The "new" House of Representatives..will have the power to "investigate" Mr. Trump just like they had the power to "investigate" Hillary..But, with Hillary..the investigation found "nothing"..
..With Mr. Trump and friends...the investigation will find a "whole lot."

(15,682 posts)They had to give him 4 hours of "executive" time every damn morning just so he could eat lunch and then make it to 5 pm. Or did they shorten his day to 4 pm?
I may actually buy some popcorn for this!! So much entertainment ahead.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I don't think 2/3 of the population is going to buy it. He's been at this too long, and it's gotten too old!
The Dems in Congress have the potential to raise their profile and reputations quite a bit. We voted them in and will be watching.
Just leave the old orange dude in the dust.
