Obama deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter whacked Rudy Giuliani this morning after the former New York City mayor questioned Vice President Joe Bidens mental capacity to be president. Cutter invoked Giulianis endorsement of Sarah Palin during the 2008 presidential race in which she ran as Sen. John McCains running mate on the GOP ticket.
I would like to point back to his glowing introduction of Sarah Palin during the 2008 Convention, Cutter said. So if he wants to criticize the capacity of the vice president to take hold of this country, he should go back and look at those remarks and whether he still believes that there true.
Cutters remarks came after I asked her about Giulianis comments Tuesday that Biden isnt bright on CNBC.

(2,627 posts)He was asking why the President brought up the dog on the roof story, and that all young fathers made mistakes. Stephanie Cutter asked him if as a young father he'd ever put the family dog on his car's roof. He sheepishly answered no.
She's great!

(13,186 posts)Dems and independents don't believe a word Giuliani says at this point. But, like Palin, he still has a few of the dumber Republicans listening to him. For those people "not bright" is a selling point, not a put-down. Giuliani may have handed the Dems some votes from the Republican side.
