The OP is actually slightly mistated. The ping was on a tower OUTSIDE of Prague. Thus a factual comment could be made that Cohen wasn't in Prague even though he was just outside of Prague.

it didn't have to be *him* using one of the phones 'traced to him'. He could have loaned one of his 'burners' to anyone that was involved with that trip, or it could have been a phone that someone else had then later gave to Cohen.

As adamant as he has been about never having traveled to the Czech Republic it wouldn't surprise me to find that there was some phone swapping going on. Whether he was there or not, the rest of the campaign is still neck-deep in this crap.

(Of course, the intercepted conversation with Russians stating that he was there throws a wrench into this, but, still...)
