Breitbart reporter calls BS on Trump's bogus 'War on Christmas' attack on Obama

Three years ago, then-presidential candidate Donald Trump attacked former President Barack Obama for supposedly waging a war against Christmas after he released a statement wishing people a happy Kwanza [sic] but not a statement for Christmas.
“What a convenient mistake: Barack Obama issued a statement for Kwanza [sic] but failed to issue one for Christmas,” Trump wrote while linking to an article by the Gateway Pundit, a right-wing website notorious for publishing fake news.
However, Breitbart News reporter Charlie Spiering points out that even though Obama didn’t issue a formal statement on Christmas in 2015, he did post a full video on his social media pages paying tribute to the Christian holiday.
What’s more, Spiering notes that Trump himself this year put out a Christmas video without also issuing a separate statement on the holiday — and that Trump did put out an official statement wishing people a happy Kwanza.[sic]
