Merry Christmas to all

we were in Mainz today at the great Cathedral of Boniface and then went to where the printing press was invented. It was interesting the further south of Frankfurt we went, the less English was spoken and the more I had to use my German language skills.

We are now getting ready for Mid night Mass at the Cathedral in Frankfurt in which I was baptized and first sang in professionally.

My daughter is currently stationed at Baumholder right outside Mainz. I’ll have to pass this along

She’s in Italy for Christmas with a friend at her family’s in Venice (rough life for her! lol)
