(42,759 posts)Im pretty sure the last vote was on a motion to proceed which passed with pence casting the te breaking vote.
The bill is alive until the senate kills it or the senate adjourns sine die neither of those things has happened as far as I know.

Both the Senate and House start on Jan 3rd with a clean slate, no previously passed bills hanging out there.

the answer is no as I stated, the Dems in the House cannot undo if the bill was signed in to law

All the Democrats need to do is wait until January 3rd.
If the Republicans can't pass it on their own, it is dead.

(36,341 posts)I learned something today by asking the question. That all bills that have not been enacted into law (passed by both houses and signed by the President) by the time the new Congress starts die.
